"C'mon, it won't hurt you." Jenny said. "we do it all the time and it hasn't hurt any of us yet. Besides, if it ever did the Narian's medical miracle machine would fix it. So what's the harm?"
"Yeah," Suzy added "and it makes you feel real good."
"I don't know." Ruthie replied. "It just doesn't seem right t put something into your body that ain't good for you. Besides, I feel good without it."
"Who says it ain't good for you?" Penny challenged. "It's good for me."
"What's good for you Penny?" Robin asked as she walked up t them.
"Well, if it ain't miss goodie two shoes." Penny mocked. "Butt out Robin. Ruthie's our friend, not yours."
"Yeah, you don't even like her." Jenny added. "You just want to spoil everyone else's fun because you don't know how to have fun yourself."
"Yeah." Suzy chipped in. "You Edenites are always picking on us kids from Earth. Why don't you leave us alone for a change?"
"That's not true and you know it." Ruthie retorted. "Robin's tried to help every one of you and so have the other kids here. It's not their fault you don't want to be helped."
"Are you turning traitor on us?" Jenny accused Ruthie. "Sticking up for those trouble making Edenites instead of your fellow Earth kids. I thought you wanted to be one of us."
"I do want to be your friend but I just don't know about doing drugs." Ruthie replied. "Besides me'n Robin've had lots of fun together without messing our minds up with drugs."
"Another goodie two shoes." Suzy jeered. "C'mon, lets leave these two jerks and go make ourselves feel good."
"Well, I'm glad they're gone." Ruthie said. "I really want to be friends with them but they're making it hard. I don't want to have to choose between you and them. And I don't want to do drugs either."
"Then don't." Robin replied. "They can't have fun without drugs but we both have lots of fun without getting stoned."
"Their lives are so messed up that they say the only way to deal with it is to get stoned and forget their troubles." Ruthie answered. "Your life's so perfect it's no wonder that you don't need dope to feel good. My life isn't that good so I can see their point."
"You really think my life's so perfect?" Robin asked. "Well it's not. I used to make my boyfriend miserable by listening to my mother's advice about how to hold onto him. Now I'm treating him good most of the timeand my mom's constantly nagging me. She keeps telling me that I'm going to loose him for sure if I don't fgo back to keeping him guessing. So either I make Bill miserable or I have to listen to my mom's nagging. I love Bill too much to make him miserable so I put up with my mom's nagging."
"Wow! I always thought you Edenites all had it all together."
"Nobody has it all together." Robin responded. "You just gotta learn to deal with your problems as they come up and dope doesn't help."
